How much do you want for your home?

There are two main ingredients for selling your home in Highlands County: price and marketing. We can spend a small fortune on marketing your home but if it is not priced correctly, it will not sell. In return, your property might be the deal of the century but it isn’t likely to sell if nobody knows that it is for sale. You can see that price and marketing are crucial and one doesn’t work without the other.

You may feel that your home is worth more than what the current market can bear. That’s fine, there’s nothing wrong with it. You may have made expensive improvements to your home or maybe its current market value is not enough to pay off your mortgage. It might be wise to wait with the sale of your home until the market can support your asking price. You might find yourself in a situation where you have to sell your home for less than what your mortgage balance is. This is what we call “Short Sale”.
